Lemon-Berry:: Chapter 11

“Mom can Chowder and I please, please go to the park!” Frazzle begged. This had been going on for five minutes straight. I had no time to take them to the park today, I was busy with the girls today and I was supposed to go to Ginger’s for some tea with the triplets.

“Frazzle I’m sorry I can’t I’m going to Chowder’s house anyways, why don’t you come along?”

“No, I want to go to the park!” he stamped his foot, “It’s not fair!”

“Listen to me Mister do not use that kind of body language with me, you know better than that! Now why don’t you ask your sister nicely and see if she would like to take you to the park?”

“Fine,” he walked away.

“Spring could you please take Chowder and me to the park?” he asked.

“No because I’m hanging out with Kristi today,”

“Please! You can bring Kristi with you, and we promise that we won’t bug the two of ya!”

“Fine!”

Frazzle’s point of view
Since I had the skills to talk to my sister, she was nice enough to take Chowder and me to the park. When we got to the park I ran out of the car, and headed straight for the swings. I swung back and forth, and watched all the birds fly by.
“Hey Frazzle wanna play tag?” Chowder asked me.

“Sure!” I leapt off the swing, “I’m it!” I started to run after Chowder as fast as I could. Finally I caught on to his shirt. “You’re it!” I laughed and I scurried away.

“Hey no fair!” he shouted behind me.

Soon enough we both tuckered out. So we decided to sit down.
“Hey look over there!” Chowder pointed at some girl. From far away I could tell she was our age. She had beautiful purple skin, and she wore the most unusual outfit. She wasn’t like most of the girls at school. The girl’s at school are so girlie and stuff but she....she wasn’t like that.

“Who is that?” I asked in a daze.

“Who cares! Look how she dresses, isn’t that funny? I mean what girl wears boots when there is no rain!” he laughed.

“Yeah...” I laughed along. Though I didn’t agree with Chowder, I think she dressed beautifully. “Hey we should go talk to her!”

“Oh my Berry yeah we should!” Chowder leapt up, and pulled me up.

“Hey there beautiful my name is Chowder, and this is my friend Frazzle,” Chowder said smoothly.

“Excuse me?” she gave us a funny look.

“H-h-hi I’m Frazzle, and excuse Chowder he’s kind of weird,”

“Makes sense,” she laughed, “anyways my name is Lavender,” she smiled.

“What an interesting outfit you have on Lavender,” Chowder joked.

“Well at least I don’t look like a shaggy dog!” she laughed.

“Touché!”

“So um Lavender, would you like to play tag with Chowder and me?”

“Sure!” she took a step forward and tagged Chowder, “you’re it Shaggy!”

Lavender had played Tag with Chowder and me for a while, and every time I tagged her I felt all tingly. I had to ask myself, was I too young for love? Because she made me feel like I’m on a sugar rush each time I tag her.
“Chowder! Frazzle! Get your butts over here!” Spring called.

“Catch you later Lavender!” Chowder waved. That left me standing there stupidly beside Lavender.

“Aren’t you going to go to?” she asked.

“Oh yeah, um catch you later Lavender,” I started to walk off.

“Wait!” she ran after me, “before you go...uh...you can call me Levi [lev-E],”

“Oh well see you around Levi,” I smiled.

I got into the car, and watched her get farther and farther away. Yep, I think I was in love.

Spring had dropped Chowder and I at his house, while she went somewhere with Kristi. We walked through the front door, and my mom and Auntie Ginger were sitting talking hushly amongst them. Chowder went to go have a shower so that left me alone in the dining area. Since I had nothing better to do, I casually listened to their conversation.
--------
“I can’t believe he did that to you!” Auntie Ginger looked frustrated, “and Tangerine just got angry? Wow, men these days!”

“Yeah, and so I was carrying Spring and when I shouted at them he looked shocked,”

“And she still doesn’t know?” Auntie Ginger asked curiously.

“No, she doesn’t know that she and Kristi are actually half-sisters,” she cried.

What!? Spring isn’t my real sister? No wonder she looks different from the rest of us. I thought she inherited our great-great-great something’s genes. And she doesn’t know that Kristi is her half-sister... wait that means Spring’s real dad is...Wafer. OH MY BERRY! This is truly scandalous....this will come in great for blackmail purposes.
